Goldman, Robert M, Dvm - Civic Center Pet Clinic

I cannot praise him enough, as far as I'm concerned he's my hero. He saved my doggie from needless painful surgery and saved me thousands of dollars and tears. I had taken my dog to banfield to get a bump on his leg tested. They failed to follow up, and when I did they said it's cancer. When I pushed for more info they admitted it might not be but they said surgery was absolutely necessary. I refused to take my dog to those greedy dumdums so i went searching for a new vet...in comes Dr. Goldman. \r \r Dr. G looked my dog over, listened to all my concerns, was very warm, caring, intelligent, respectful, concerned, gentle. He gave bonbon a shot, some antibiotics for the week and the bump went away, it has been gone for 2 months now! His staff is very sweet also, they checked up on us repeatedly while we waited, answered all my questions and gave me all the info I needed. The price was also great, less than half what I paid to banfield for them to screw me over. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I totally recommend him. Save yourself a bunch of worries and just take your pet to Dr. Goldman in Civic Center, you won't be disappointed!\r more

This man is an angel as far as i am concerned. My senior yorkie needed emergency dental surgery. Dr Goldman asked me what I wanted to do. Dr Goldman worked thru a holiday for my beloved dog. His receptionist kindly made payment arrangements I could afford with me. This is the only vet in vegas I would reccomend. Dr Goldman and his staff are there to heal animals. I will not take my dog anywhere else. He does not seem egotistical to me at all and took my dog's condition very seriously and took me very seriously when I told him I needed my dog cared for. God Bless Dr Ron Goldman and his staff. I cannot rave enough about this guy. more

Dr. Goldman is a sexist pig who has no business being let out of a cage let alone working with animals. I useto bring two of my dogs there at the time we had a 9 year old lab mix and a 4 month old chihuahua. My lab mix Dakota had very bad arthrits from being ran over by a car when he was a puppy. This ""doctor"" brutally man handled him on more than one occasion. Every time we brought our dogs to see him he was very loving towards my puppy Paige but very mean and nasty towards Dakota. It was almost as if he enjoyed tormenting Dakota. I remember it was about the 20th time we brought him in to be treated and Dr. Goldman insisted on putting a muzzle on him which he had never done up until this point. Dakota had never bitting anyone he had never so much as growled a Dr. Goldman. After muzzleing my dog he had one of his techs come and put him on the table he the proceeded to poke and pull on Dakota's bad leg very roughly. As this is going on my dog is sitting on the table hyperventalating and crying. I begged Dr. Goldman to take the muzzle off so he would calm down I even offered to hold him down to put his mind at ease as long as the muzzle came off. Dr. Goldman than looks at me and tells me that either the muzzle stays on or (his words not mine) he would not treat my f***ing dog and I could take him home and let him suffer. When Paige was about 1 year old she got pregnant and she was very sick she wouldnt eat anything so I brought her in to be seen. At the time my husband was at work so I had my grandmother take me in. The whole time I was there he talked to me like I was 2 years old. He proceeded to tell me how stupid I was for feeding her eggs even though it was the only thing I could get her to eat. I call ahead and informed them that my husband didnt get paid until 3 days later so I wouldnt be able to pay them until then I was told that that wasnt a problem and just to bring her in right away. When I got there Dr. Goldman insisted on doing an xray so I agreed and allowed him to do it. He made me wait 2 hours to get the results only to tell me that I was an idiot and my dog wasnt pregnant even though she had gained weight and you could see the puppies move. You could even see their little rib cages pressing against her skin when they moved. When everything was done proceeded to scream at me for not bringing in an money even though I had called ahead and made arrangements. Every time I went in there without my husband Dr. Goldman treated me like crap he was never polite. I can remember ever going to see him once and have him look me in the eyes and talk to me instead of staring at my breasts and drooling the entire time. 3 weeks after the xray Pagie had her puppies she had 4 little boys. I call to inform them that he was wrong and I got yelled at and called a f***ing lier on the phone. I had to bring in my dog and her puppies to prove that she actually had puppies. That was the last time I went there I had to fight with the office lady just to get my vet records so I could find a new vet. 2 days after I got my vet records I recevied several threating phone calls about the bill for Paige's xray. more

I WENT TO LNOE MOUNTIAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND WAS TOLD MY DOG NEEDS AN IMMEDIATE OPERATION FOR THE AN 'ESTIMATE' OF $2,500.00 (AND I WAS REMINDED REPEATEDLY THAT WAS AN ESTIAMTE), BUT AN 'ESTIMATE' OF $1,547.00 IS NEEDED BEFORE THEY CONSIDER HER LIFE OR DEATH OPERATION. THEY GAVE ME TWO PERSCRIPTIONS TO FILL AND A 'CALL US WHEN YOU HAVE THE MONEY.' I WENT TO CIVIC CENTER ANIMAL HOSPITAL ON CIVIC CENTER AND LAKE MEAD AND BEFORE I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON DR. GOLDMEN WAS ADMITTING MY DOG AND PREPARING FOR AN EMRGENCY OPERATION, WHILE NANCI (HIS WIFE AND RECEPTIONIST) WAS GIVING ME A PAYMENT PLAN. AFTER THE COMPLETING THE SURGERY, (ABOUT 9:30-10:00 PM) DR. GOLDMEN, HIMSELF CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THE OUTCOME. HE APOLOGIZED FOR IT BEING SO LATE, BUT HE WANTED TO WAIT FOR CURLEY TO WAKE UP ON HER OWN (HOW GR8 IS THAT?!). HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT LONE MOUNTIAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL WAS WRONG ON THEIR DIAGNOSIS AND CURLEY HAD THE MOST CANCER DR. GOLDMEN HAD EVER WITNESSED. NEEDLESS TO SAY MY DOG, CURLEY IS HAPPY, HEALTHY AND HERE WITH ME FOR THE SUM OF $700.00. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT DR. GOLDMEN AND NANCI. 702-642-2625 IS THEIR #.
