Editorial review from Citysearch 12/14/2012

I saw this doctor when I started having problems with my feet. At the time, I didn't even know I had bunions. I just thought I'd hurt myself somehow. Dr. Goldman, while seemingly very thorough at first, ultimately refused to discuss any other options with me besides conservative treatments. Basically, he pretty much just wanted to sell me orthotics. I was not against orthotics, but I wanted to discuss ALL the options, even surgery, so I could be well-informed. He refused to discuss that with me and was even a bit rude about the surgical option, when all I really wanted was information. I would therefore not recommend him. more

Very Rude 8/24/2010

I had an appointment with Dr. Goldman. I was a new patient. There were several doctors I could have selected but, not knowing any of them, I took a chance going to this office. The doctor himself was OK. About average. His nurse was good. However, the woman running his front office was shockingly rude. When I walked in, she was berating someone on the phone. When I spoke with her, she was just horrible. At the end when I paid, there was no ""thank you"" or any trace of gratitude. As a patient, you have a lot of options. I would not recommend going here unless it is an emergency and you cannot get in somewhere else. more

Can't recommend this clinic ... 12/30/2009

I saw Michael Goldman in 2007 for what turned out to be a serious case of toenail fungus, and he didn't even seem to realize that's what I had. Instead, he lectured me about using better hiking shoes and he insisted on showing me a way to tape my toenails to hold them down onto the nail beds (IMHO, a totally useless procedure). My dermatologist verified that I had a fungus infection and, ultimately, I found an old-fashioned way to treat it, using vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. It's taken an hour a day for two and a half years, but the nails now are now very nearly normal. I have another problem now, with my heels, but there is no way I would ever go back to this clinic. Pros: Nice enough people, I suppose, but ... Cons: I got no help from them at all. more

Pain free feet without surgery! 4/21/2009

A previous podiatrist wanted to slice me open. ""How can I get you into surgery today?!"" Dr. Goldman examined my feet much more thoroughly including measuring range of motion of the toes. He said we should try orthotic inserts and check back in a year. Well, six months later, my bunions which had hurt like hell for going on ten years are nearly pain free. I'm from a pain level of 10 to a .368. Certainly I don't need surgery. The guy's old school competent and really knowledgeable. He has photos on his wall of several athletes in mid stride that he must have helped as much as he did me. Screw that scalpel-weilding other Dr. Pros: Conservative treatment that worked Cons: No drawbacks more
