I ordered the appetizer combination tray which was very good and barbecue pork fried rice. The fried rice was bland. It needed some scallions and more flavorful meat. more

This was our favorite Chinese restaurant since 1994... until they changed owners a few months ago. NOTHING was the same. Most food had MSG now. The former owners would always make our dishes without it, as I get headaches from it. The food all tasted alike. We will not be returning. more

I've never gotten anything from golden wok that wasn't super tasty. The egg rolls are probably the best thing on the menu. Great delivery times and the drives are always extraordinarily courteous. Always a good bet, especially on a cold evening :) more

Best Chinese Ever 3/25/2008

When we moved to Lombard it took a few trys to find good Chinese. After a couple of terrible Chinese restaurants we found the Golden Wok II and have never ordered out from any other Chinese place. Whenever my "chinese food buddy" comes to my house, we head over to Golden Wok for the buffet, which is pretty darn good. At the time of writing this they are on vacation and I am totally bummed that I cannot have my Chinese food fix until tomorrow night! Pros: Great meals for a decent price Cons: They aren't located right next door! more

Vest Egg Rolls Anywhere 10/17/2007

i started eating at this restaraunt about thirteen years ago, when I lived in Lombard, Il. I have NEVER stopped going there. I travel all the way from Forest Park to eat Chinese food. I can not find any other restaraunt that compares to them. And I have tried to find a closer one, but I can't. So my family and myself have no problem taking that thirty five minute trip at least every other week for dinner. The wait staff are wonderful and very polite. They NEVER push anything extra on you. I always leave there with four extra orders of egg rolls and fried wontons. If you get a chance please try this restaraunt, you will fall in love. Pros: thumbs up ! more

Excellent food & Excellent service 2/11/2006

I visit this restaurant often because I can always count on excellent food and excellent service. The quanity of food is enough to ensure a "doggie bag" for another meal at home. The wait staff is always courteous and very efficient. I would highly recommend. more

Great Chinese 9/4/2005

The food here is great, but I go back for the excellent service. Not only is the waitstaff always good, but the owners go above & beyond to ensure happy patrons. Recently I used a B1G1 Entertainment book coupon here, and they allowed me to use a second coupon since there were 4 people in my party. Definitely worth a visit! more
