There was an ""element"" sitting outside - two guys and I don't know if they were customers, management, or staff, but they called me names so I decided not to get coffee this AM. I would expect that kind of treatment from a bar in the evening not a coffee shop. I question if I would be safe inside. I hate to equate ""neighborhood"" with ""sleazy"" but in this case... more

Great neighborhood coffee shop 11/5/2006

If you love jazz and neighborhood coffee shops, Golden Thyme is for you. Michael can keep you updated on what is happening in the neighborhood, and serves a fantastic cup of joe.
