Would not recommend to a friend 6/30/2011

I went to this salon twice the first hair cut I got my layers looked terrible. I thought mabye it was just that woman so I went again to another lady and I told her how I wanted my hair and she got it wrong too. They were not the nicest people either. So I now go to Misty at Towne Cutters. My first visit she permed and cut my har perfectly. I have gone back for hair cuts and eyebrow waxing and her work is better than what I expect to get, every time. Misty is one of the nicest people I have meet, from the first appoitment she is very personable! more

Best haircuts with great customer service 8/12/2008

Golden Scissors is under new ownership and her name is Avis Hall. She gives great haircuts and is a great colorist. The atmosphere has changed from what it was. The shop has a whole new look. If you want a great haircut come in and see them at Golden Scissors. I would ask for Avis, she's the best! Pros: Great location, good atmosphere more

Bad service and haircuts 4/7/2007

received the worst service & haircut I have ever gotten. The girls screamed at each other the whole haircut in my ear. The owner and her husband were fighting loudly in the middle of the salon. Needless to say I won't be back and it left a bad taste in my mouth for Golden Scissors Pros: good location Cons: bad atmosphere and horrible haircut more
