My Only Stop for Auto Repair 8/10/2011

As a customer of Golden Ring Auto & Truck Repair for many years, I am always impressed with how they treat their customers. In a difficult economy they work with you as well as for you. They continue to show their customers how their honesty, integrity, and quality of repairs have made them a viable business for over forty years. I have brought all of my vehicles there and continue to be pleased with them. They will always explain the problem, provide a helpful solution/fix, and always go above in beyond in their endeavors. As we all know, the automotive repair business can be a business that many tend to criticize and few tend to praise. I just wanted to take the time to prove the pack wrong and provide kudos to owners who will take the time necessary to make sure their customers are treated right. I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family. more

Reliable, fast, knowledgeable, and great quality. 9/28/2010

I have had several things done by Golden Ring Auto and Truck Repair, and it is the primary place I use for my personal truck, which is my work vehicle. Greg is really on top of it. He does a great job. He has never told me that I can't bring it in right away, or will have to wait a couple days for the repair. Because I use my truck for a living, it is important that he gets it back fast. I have been using Golden Ring for about 3 or 4 years. Everything has turned out well so far, and any problem I have had I don't blame on Greg but on the truck. My truck really has some inherent issues in it, and Greg fixes it to the best of his ability given what he has to work with. Greg does a good job, and I am always able to get the truck in. I would encourage you to use Greg, because Golden Auto does a great job. I have had a positive experience all around. more

Honesty is the best policy 7/16/2010

I have been a customer at Golden Ring Auto for many years. I keep going back because they are honest, reliable, and they explain things in a way that I understand and feel comfortable with. Golden Ring is the only place I take my car and I tell all of my friends and family to use them as well. Pros: Honest, Convenient, Family Owned and Operated more

Golden Ring Rocks! 7/16/2010

I tried to replace my water pump on my Geo (mechanic I am not) and messed my timing belt up. I called Golden Ring Auto and had my car towed in. They fixed my car at a really reasonable price and had a quick turn around time. I have been back quite a few times, since I no longer attempt do things myself and have been very pleased every time. Greg at Golden Ring Saves my Vacation 7/15/2010

I had a terrible scare, here I am ready to leave on Vacation. Car is all packed up and Family is ready to roll. I start my car and the dreaded check engine light comes on and my car is making an awful noise. I have used Golden Ring in the past and called them thinking I'm going to lose a day of my vacation as everything must be closed. To my surprise the Manager, Greg Rogalski answered the phone and gave me some instructions to make sure car could be driven and waited for me to get there. Come to find out he was supposed to have left earlier but knew my dilema as he told me ""been there done that with the kids"". But most important to me was not the fact the car got fixed and never gave me the problem again but the fact Greg stayed and kept a smile on his face. He enjoyed teasing the kids and had us on our way in no time. Greg you are the best and thanks again for going above and beyond. I can tell you that you have earned a customer for life. Reliable, Honest, and Quality Service? 7/15/2010

My elderly parents had a 2000 Ford Explorer with 200,000+ miles. The owner and staff were able to find the problems with the car and give them an honest assessment of the problems and the cost to fix them. My parents listened to the owner about the issues with the car and decided to fix only what was necessary to keep them safe while they looked for a new car. My parents were very happy with the service and the price! The shop is now working with my daughter to put new tires on her car. Pros: Friendly, great prices, fast turn around time more

Dependable and Quality Service 5/23/2010

I've used Golden Ring Auto & Truck Repair for more than a decade and have always been a very satisfied customer. The owner and staff provided great service for my car and were quick to diagnose and correct my car's problems. The repairs were timely and done right the first time. Wonderful Staff, Honest! 5/18/2010

My 2005 Ford Explorer has had a squeak for several years that has driven me crazy! Every place I have taken it they couldn't find it, I brought my car to Golden Ring Auto and Truck and they found the squeak immediately and fixed it. My car no longer has the squeak and I have my sanity back! They are definitely my new repair shop! I'll be back. Pros: friendly, honest more

Honest and Reliable 3/4/2010

I was on my way to New York when I had to pull off 95 thinking I had a problem with my clutch. After the owner-mechanic looked at my car it turned out to be only a rubber matt that caused the problem. I have been going there ever since and driving from Columbia Md to White Marsh. I would not recommend Golden Ring to anyone looking for repairs or just routine maintenance on their car. They are overpriced, dishonest when it comes to actual problems with your car, and have poor customer service. Pros: distance Cons: customer service, price, cannot see car being worked on, time it takes to repair more
