It seems like the best Chinese restaurants are the little out-of-the-way, hole-in-the-wall places. My favorite I discovered only because I lived right across the street from it. Golden Plate II is a small restaurant, but likely to be around for a while because their prices are good and their lunch specials attract business from students at the nearby high school. They appear to be family owned; their food is the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted, as well as the best value for your money, and the service is extremely friendly and fast. If there is any place you should at least try once, it’s Golden Plate II!
