Had to check it out 8/5/2011

took my 3 friends nice place. Plan on having my childs party here and wanted to check it out. Closer to my house than other skating rinks. Reviews are a joke who ever this kayla is i think it was a problem of her own. I even booked my party while i was there. but had to ask if they knew about the reviews posted. I was a kid who had a issue with other things than the business. I look forward to my party in Oct.. Nice place.... more

went there looking for all the bad reviews but it turned out there was not a single thing wrong with golden skate it had good food the prices for the drinks and food are the cheapest around. the employes there are so nice kind. and then i talked to the manager and assistant manager about all the bad reviews and they said it was just a 13 year old girl causing trouble...\r but today at golden skate was the time of my life so i highly recommend going here:) more

Just got back 8/5/2011

went skating not bowling with my 2 kids. The skating rink was clean. Kids had fun. Did not see any of the other stuff in other comments. They did make floor larger. went looking for lazer tag but they took it out to make a large skating area. nice. more

Good time with family 8/5/2011

After spending a saturday at bowling and skating with my family we enjoyed our day at this location. The bad reviews i dont belive. I even talked with the manager about the reviews. The girl writing the stuff is a 13 year old who has a problem with the management. I agree posting things about a child is wrong. Any how i hope this is helpful.\r Enjoyed the time and a great price... more

Golden Skate bad place 7/10/2011

I use to go skating every friday and saturday and me and my best friend got band from here bc we were annoying his son..... but we didnt even hang around him! he takes his personal life to the skatin rink! he needs to leave it at home! i got band for no reason at all! the manager doesnt care what happens there! and the assistant manager therents to hit u! he says that your not supposed to go have fun there! the bathrooms dont have doors! then dont supply toilet paper! there food is disgusting! there drinks are exspensive! go to a different skatin rink golden skate is nasty and there workers are rude! more

Go to Frankie's instead 5/11/2008

I have been to the skating rink, which seems rather run down. None of the video games worked, and the concessions weren't available. I also wanted to get a party here, with miniature golf. They wanted me to pay up front, and if we couldn't use the golf that day (because of weather of whatever) you'd LOSE THEM! Go to Frankie's Fun Park instead - they give you vouchers that do not ever expire and it is much cleaner. Pros: It is closer for those living in Mauldin/Simpsonville Cons: It's dirty and their policies stink more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! 4/12/2008

This place is the most mismanaged establishment in the area. The manager creates problems with long time patrons, and then has them banned from the lanes. Just because his wife is unfaithfull does not give him the right to keep people out. Maybe if he left his personal life at home, it would not affect the business. My advice would be to go to star lanes in greenville. Less drama and more fun!!! Cons: Management more
