I have bought several items in the past 6 mos. and have been very satisfied with service and prices. I like the option of being able to buy used tack and gear if my budget was suffering. I would give it a 4 stars out of a possible 5 ! Thanks! more

RUDENESS & INDIFFERENCE 4/1/2010

I wish I could think of one good thing about this place, but it is a total train wreck. I hate rude & indifferent employees & that seems to be manditory to work at this place. Pros: None Cons: Rude & indifferent employees-Too pricey. more

Great Tack Shop 9/2/2008

This tack shop is relativily good. It has a great selection of tack, and its not really that expensive. There is not really constant service. The one day I went this lady had nothing but ideas for me, and she helped me with everything, but the next week when I went a different women wasn't as helpful as she could have been. It's not as organized as it could be, but If you have a lot of tack I can see. They have a wide variety of choices and they sell both western and english tack. Western being downstairs, English is upstairs. So overall, it is a good tack shop. Great Tack Shop 11/30/2005

This is a great tack shop that has been in Eureka as long as I can remember. They are well stocked with plenty to look at. We no longer have any horses, but I still stop her from time to time with my granddaughter to let her look at all of the "horsie things" The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place. Bigger than you expect! more

  • The Golden Horseshoe has been in Eureka, Missouri since 1982. We carry English and Western tack and apparel, and we also have a large selection of consignment items. We can custom order just about anything you need to enjoy your horses companionship. Come in and speak to Lynn, Shelly and Jax about saddle fitting. We will come to you, or you can bring your horse to us, and we will try our best to find a great fitting saddle for both you and your horse. Lynn, Shelly and Jax are Certified Saddle fitters through both Stubben and Lynn in also certified through Prestige. We will help you fit any English or Western Saddle. Lynn has 30 years experience fitting Western and English Saddles. We do not flock tho. If you are working with a trainer, and they would like to help you fit a saddle, we have a contract system. You and your trainer can come find a saddle that fits you in the store and you can take it out to try and make sure it fits your horse before you make such an important and expensive decision..
