Sometimes real entertainment gems lie off the beaten path. This is the case here. If you want an authentic ""Russian Immigrant Restaurant"" atmosphere, this is your bet. I can't say how authentically Russian this restaurant is, considering that the cuisine offered is Eurasian fusion, and the clientele is Ukrainian Jewish people, but music is mostly contemporary Russian pop sprinkled with occasional Italian, French or Turkish pop creation. One thing for sure: come prepared to dance until 2 a.m. with a crowd of mixed ages. This dance floor does not discriminate. You will see 60-years-olds doing rad dance moves alongside hot and uncommonly thin scantily clad twenty-somethings. Come for food, but come for entertainment as well for there are often invited performers on stage mixing with the restaurant's energizer bunny singers . Mmm, what's not to love? Beautiful women, attractive men, dancing till morning... Come and explore! P.S. Ladies, did you know Russian men do not believe in ever going Dutch with a woman? One more reason to think outside the box when looking for Mr. Right.
Pros: Food, music, atmosphere
Cons: A little far from Center City
