Golden Gate Diner

I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.\r I went there to eat with my 1 year old and 3 year old. needless to say children that young.are loud. my son got the window a little greasy from his meal. the owner came out and yelled at me and my children and told me if I can't keep them under control to leave. when I went to leave I complain at the host stand the owner and then came out from the kitchen and started screaming at me in my face. \r this is a diner not red lobster I have been in the diner business for 15 years. being a waitress I have never yelled at a customer for their children being loud I have never yelled at a customer for the children making a mess. I have definitely never seen owner yell at a customer the way I was yelled at. the owner even told me they banned someone from coming with their children. I have never ever heard of a restaurant doing that..... very sad very disrespectful very disgusting more

This diner is good. It has great food, and good service. The menu items are reasonably priced, as well as the portions you are given. Breakfast is great...service is quick as well as the food. more

We've tried a lot of local diners, and this one is our favorite! You don't have to wait long, and they are very affordable. Gus, the owner, is awesome, and the service is exceptional. Not a lot of parking on Sunday during the "church crowd", but you can plan around that. You too will love it here! more
