Great Experience 5/15/2011

Checked my area for optical shops that accept my insurance EYEMED, saw the goldengate optical ,\r I always like to support local private businesses and try to avoid franchises who usually don't have highly experienced staff and opticians. especially when it comes to designer frames,quality lenses and accurate measurment for no line bifocals.\r this is a very unique optical shop, starting from the doctor to the optician who is explained every option i had for a frame and lens that would fit my vision.\r it gets confusing from the large variety of frames they had. usually and in other places it's hard to find one frame to fit me but there it was hard to pick which one.\r the place was extremely busy. which tells you something.\r again any place you go to there is good and bad.\r mine was great.\r more

Not A Good Experience 4/20/2011

I was very disappointed with my visit and service at Golden Gate Optical. I would have thought with it being a smaller shop as compared to a bigger eye glass service center, one would have received better service, especially after the fact of buying a product,,,,, they showed me, based on my beliefs, that they cared little about my customer satisfaction, had to get the lenses replaced somewhere else so I could use the frames I bought their, therefore I cannot recommend this place to anyone else.
