I've been going to Golden Crown for 15 years. It is very standard ""Minnesota style"" Chinese - but you know that going in. (I will say they don't use the 80 percent celery that Minnesota style usually features!) The portions are huge and the flavors and quality never vary. The Kung Pao Chicken is great - even if it has the usual dark sauce - tons of chicken, lots of garlic and a fair amount of spice. The Egg Foo Yung is very good and the meats with Chinese vegetables are tasty. If you are looking for authentic Chinese with whole fish, duck and more unusual (to Americans) ingredients, this isn't it. But they do serve ""comfort food"".
Pros: Standard Chinese comfort food, consistent quality
Cons: Not a place for authentic Chinese
