With so many good choices in Chinese cuisine Golden Buddha stands apart with the best quality. This is a full service restaurant that offers more than typical delivery places and it is apparent in their technique in cooking and the fresh ingredients that there are pros in the kitchen. I will always only order Chinese from Golden Buddha. more

Very disappointing. 12/7/2011

Very disappointing. Overcooked, mushy, brown sauced, gloppy mess. No distinct flavors, stale ingredients, obviously no pride in the kitchen, they're just shoveling it out. This is not what good chinese food should be, but it is sadly too often what passes for chinese food in Atlanta. more

Great Food 1/4/2011

The food is always great. I really like the San Shan Soup. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a ""Chinese fix."" The only thing that I don't like is the ugly looking dishes on display walking into the restaurant. This is on the tacky side. However, this has nothing to do with the service or the food. more

chicken chunks 10/8/2010

I ordered delivery. the delivery was on time and the food was hot, the delivery guy was nice. They get the one star for this alone. The FOOD: I ordered chicken fried rice. not good. greasy, a lot of pieces of meat but it could not be identified as chicken. I ate around it and the rice was tasty but I kept thinking that I don't know exactly what creature I was eating, or what else could be mixed in with the rice. So no more Golden Buddha for me. more

DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE 3/10/2010

me and my fiancee live in the area and are new to Atlanta. we were looking for a quiet nice chinese restaurant just cause we were craving it. initial impressions were good. high prices, but whatever. when we finished our dinnner i asked the waitress to put $7 on my credit card and 28 in cash. simple enough. NOT ONLY DID SHE CHARGE MY CARD 35 DOLLARS, THEY DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR CHARGING ME INCORRECTLY. THEY MADE IT SEEM AS IF IT WAS MY FAULT. THEN THEY TRIED TO STILL TAKE MY CASH AND CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD AGAIN! I ENDED UP HAVING TO GIVE HER MY CASH AND A CHECK BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT THEM TO KEEP CHARGING MY CARD. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED THAT WAY. STAY FARRRRR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Pros: food was OKAY at best. Cons: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD! more

Fabulous Chinese Food 11/21/2008

I've been going to the Golden Buddha for more than 20 years. The food is a sort of Chinese-Korean mix that works wonderfully well. It is ""stick-to-your-ribs"" fare that is generally superb. There have been a few lapses in quality over the years, but it is 95% excellent and a fantastic value. They always serve twice as much as a normal person can eat, so there is always enough to take home and make another meal from. Pros: Fantastic Food more

Horrible Chinese, Do not order 10/14/2008

Crab Rangoon - soggy and tasteless. Mongolian Beef - rehydrated beef jerky. Steamed Potstickers - bland meat nuggets in a wonton. Basil Spring Rolls - just basil, need I say more. Veg Spring Rolls - oily vegetable imposters. Ask yourself before you go here if you really want Chinese because you won't get here. more

The best asian food in town 2/12/2007

Nothing can compare with this restaurant, the food is so good and addicted,try one of their special seafood noodle soup and the empress chicken is awesome!!!and one more thing their home made dumpling is outstanding,i will say 10 point for this place,very highly recommended more
