for golf lovers 7/19/2006

I am not a real golfer but I followed my husband to Golden Bear Golf Center when he went to practice and had some practice too. I liked here very much since the price was cheap and it was not too busy. Also it has a miniature golf course, so it was good to go and have some fun with kids. more

Nice place for pratice and Putt Putt 11/9/2005

Golden Bear, How can you go wrong with a name like this. Golden Bear has a state of the art driving range with instructors available for classes scheduled throughout the year. I attended a basic class that really improved my game. Golden Bear has over 100 available slots for their practice driving range. The chipping and putting greens are great and well maintained. I would recommend Golden Bear for any golfer. more

Very nice miniature golf course. 8/15/2005

Unlike Putt Putt type places, this is a real miniature golf course. Even though we only went because we had a coupon, my husband and I had the best time. There were plenty of people to provide constructive criticism and I have since gone to play by myself. Friendly staff, and fun, fun, fun! more

Mini Golf for the Serious Golfer 5/29/2005

This is the place for the serious golfer to practice putting. Kids will love it, too. No hokey windmills or plaster animals, just great putting greens that give you plenty of opportunity to hone your skill. Nice pro shop and driving range round out the facility. If you want the typical minitaure golf experience with all the cheesy animals and vignettes, this is not the place. If you just want a great place to practice putting, nothing beats it. PROS: Great practice greens CONS: Not for those who want the kiddie stuff all over the place more

Good range 5/17/2005

This is a good range to get in some practice. They have a good pro shop, and they have a great practice green. I go at lunch very often, and it affords a great place to practice. They have a great machine to clean your clubs. more
