Goldberg's New York Bagels 5/6/2006

Doesn't matter if you're comparing kosher to non-kosher bagels, Goldberg's is still the best. They have a huge variety of bagels, soup, drinks, deserts, and much much more. You can either go sit down and eat, or take out. My school gets them every Friday and they are amazing; not too expencive either. more

  • Back in the early 1900's, a young Polish immigrant named Isador Goldberg arrived in New York with a carefully guarded secret recipe for the world?s best bagels. Soon after, he opened a little bagel shop on the Lower East Side and began baking Goldberg's original old-world bagels. Today, when people nostalgically refer to a great New York bagel, this is the bagel they remember?the perfect size, the perfect crunch, and the perfect texture.

    Here in Baltimore is a modern version of Isadore Goldberg?s original bagel shop. Our store may be a little more modern, and our equipment is now state-of-the-art, but the bagels you are about to eat have been baked from the original recipe that has been kept a secret for three generations.
