After being slamed by this past storm in october , are house was in turmoil. roof stared leaking ,hole in the roof of garge,siding ripped off side of the house, and shutters falling off,gutters barely hanging on . we needed help and fast! so call a few contractors in town.so set up appointments with three different contractor . one guy showed up , but seemed not altogether,bad feeling! then dave from goldstar remodeling showed up.first he was on time, then he was very personable.and knew what he was talking about.said he could turn our home into something out of home and gardens.then number three,showed. he seemed in a rush . but knowledgeable as well.we decided to go with goldstar. we called dave and told him we would like him to fix our home, and when could he start. he said rite away.we were pleased.dave started immeiately. he said all the work would take about 2 weeks.(great).so day by day we watched our home be come a home again, but only better.finishing day.he put all the finishing touches on and cleaned up.dave and his crew, did did an exellent job in restoring our home.i would like to thank them also the great job cleaning up. we where concerned about nails on the ground, for we have 4 dogs and they love to eat things they find.we very very pleased with all the extra care for our dogs.also finish in record time.are home does look like something out of home and gardens.we love it.we would recommend goldstar to anyone.we plan on using goldstar in the future .thank you again dave more

I not to long ago purchased an older home in Enfield Connecticut. Charming home, but indeed needs quite a bit of ...TLC. Ive always enjoyed doing home decor, but it was definitely time to call in an expert. I called/made appointments with three contractors..... :( Two were a no show and the other seems like he knew what he was talking about but I didn't like his deameanor, and his prices were/seemed very high. Anyway, my daughter who owns a home in South Windsor referred David Pinkham from Gold Star Remodeling. She had David do her siding etc. a couple years ago. David showed up on time, was very pleasent, definately knew what he was doing, and his prices very reasonable. I was over joyed! Conclusion: David remodeled my first floor bath, (which absolutely came out gorgeous), replaced my ugly old linoleum kitchen floor with ceramic tile, and will be here in April do replace the roof. Thank you Dave for all of your patience :) and beautiful work, as I told you I would post a review. It was an absolute pleasure working with you; I not only found a contractor, but a new friend! STAY AWAY! After getting slammed with spam I did some research. A quick check of this contractor's history at ct.gov shows multiple complaints. Do yourself a favor and call one of the many other contractors in his area first and be sure to get everything in writing. more
