this place has a history 7/9/2012

Gold Strike Lanes is housed in what used to be the DALE EVANS / ROY ROGERS MUSEUM before the built the one that ran along side the 15 freeway. I've heard they have moved it again. So given it's rustic charm the building has some history and the bowling alley has given most people a friendly place to play. more

No-Frills Fun 9/12/2005

Having been to numerous birthday parties and functions at Goldstrike Lanes, I was left with a generally pleasant impression. As mentioned before the real draw (from the outside, at least) is Goldstrike's very unconventional architecture. I haven't the faintest idea what business came before it, but whoever decided to make it a bowling alley certainly picked an interesting building. Goldstrike is a rather dated feeling operation. Pins being reset will occasionally encounter some sort of snag need to be reset, and the videos and animations that play after bowling a frame (e.g., a little animation of a pin being cut in half will play if you bowl and get a split) that are so prominent in other alleys are conspicuously absent. However dated, though, Goldstrike remains a fine place to have a few no-frills bowling games. more

Not extraordinary, but above average 8/21/2005

I have been to several bowling alleys in the past, but this one stuck out in my mind. It was structured in a different style with a different design, making it a real eye-catcher. However, there weren’t many people at the bowling alley, so that could be a good thing, because there was lesser congestion. The food was mediocre, but the service was very kind and helped kids get around. more

Gold Strike Lanes 8/21/2005

Gold Strike Lanes is housed in a distinctive old West fort-like structure. The inside, however, is pure Americana bowling alley. Gold Strike Lanes has bowling leagues as well as open lane bowling. My family is not big on bowling, but my son has been invited to several very nice parties at Gold Strike Lanes. The bowling alley was rarely busy during these parties, so the kids pretty much had the run of the place. There’s a snack bar as well as a video game area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. more
