Not a perfect party place 11/20/2008

We had a party here and it was not perfect or without issues. I did not recommend this place to my friends later coz we had no food left at the end of party which really looked bad among guests. When questioned on the same afterwards we were told that we should come and asked for it in the kitchen; not very professional.\r Food otherwise was tasty...quantity and service lacked badly. WONDERFUL INDIAN FOOD 8/14/2008

I am Ugandan and I love indian food its hard to find good resturant but i can safely say Gold star has the best chapati's and Beef Bhuna around and the appetizers and dipping sauces are supposed to be cold cause they are so hot. Anyone who give them a bad review is obviously reall closed minded to great food and culture.. Pros: everything else Cons: prices more

Worst customer service! 9/11/2007

The food was blunt, so were the appetizers, in addition being cold. Please avoid this one if you are with your family or friends. I would suggest you to dine here only if you are alone and you don't have any other choice for an Indian restaurant.\r \r I even doubt whether the cook/chef is from india! more

average food, awful service 7/28/2007

We went to this one on a Friday night. There were not so many people but the service was awfully slow for a half-packed restaurant. Food was cold ....and of average taste. Especially the beef curry was not good. The music was loud too! Appetizers were good. I would not recommend this to any Indian friends of mine. more

Good appetizers, average food, lazy service 7/15/2007

We found the appetizers, especially Samosas, to be of exceptionally good quality. Food (e.g. main dishes like mutton and beef curries) tasted average. But the service was awful! We had to wait in almost a half-empty restaurant for more than 30 minutes to get our appetizers served on a Thursday night! Complaints to the manager about the serrvice was not well-received. I would give the cook 6 out of 10 points; however, the managerial staff/manager wound not get more than 3 out 10. We would recommend this restaurant to friends only after the service improves. more

Consistency is the KEY 4/26/2007

i have visited this restaurant several times - and all I can say is that food is delicious and most importantly ? consistent!! I can take my family/friends there and order what I have already eaten and I can assure it is going to taste exactly as it did the last time we were in the restaurant ? food is YUMMY! Great Indian Food 2/3/2007

Great Indian Food and great service. I have been to this restaurant recently and found the food tasty and fresh. The buffet on Saturday/Sunday is great. The restaurant is behind Walmart on Route 9 in Framingham and has ample parking spots. I visit indian restaurants an a regular basis and find this restaurant among one of the best restaurants in Boston compared to its competitiors. If you would like to enjoy good indian food and good service then I would definetly recommend this one. more
