I really couldn't tell you how the actual specialists are....I couldn't get past the rude receptionist/appointment scheduler. I called today to make an appointment for my son. His doctor referred him here due to shortness of breath, passing out, and low heart rate. When the receptionist answered the phone, she sounded like she had food in her mouth. I said "" I need to make an appointment for my son"". She said ""Has he been here before?"". I told her no. She said ""Well we are booked until the end of July for new patients"". Being that my doctor faxed the information to the cardiologist with the need to be seen ASAP (this week), you would think she would have asked for my son's name and information. She did not. I said, what if this is urgent and he needs to get in this week. She belted out again...""I'm just telling you, we are booked until the end of July"". This was very unprofessional. She should have asked for his name and then advised that we could not get right in, and offered to take a message to have someone who had more knowledge call me back regarding making this appointment. If you have some ignorant, rude, upset at the world, chic answering your phones, you must not need the business. Possibly since they are booked until the end of July they don't need the business and feel they can speak to everyone however they feel like it. You are speaking to parents with sick children. In no way should you be inconsiderate. I failed to get her name as I was speachless with her rudeness. I will be filing a complaint with my medical group and they advised this will go to the board for review. Me not going to this doctor is not going to break them, however if my medical group quits referring to them, it may impact them somewhat. Needless to say, I know have to wait for the doctor's office to start a new referal elsewhere.
Cons: Rude Receptionist
