Ok, for the first time in my life, I dealt with racism while shopping, sadly it was here at Godiva.I was not dressed to the 9's but hey a Juicy Couture sweat suit is nice enough. My fiance and I were shopping for his parents, and we were looking to spend some bucks. Well as we walked in the manager took one look at us and gave a look that could of sent a Doberman running. No joke. I figured she was in her own world, but apparently not, I was looking for some assistance and she snubbed me. She walked past me with her nose in the air, about 5 mins after we walked in, these two teenagers walked in and immediately she graciously offered her services, and was very nice to them. I was appalled, I didn't want to shop elsewhere, since my in-laws are Godiva-holics. I decided to get a box of mixed chocolates about 69.00 while the boys bought 10.00 boxes!!All that personable service for 10 bucks??? The cashier watched all of this and apologized. I told her thank you , but with that type of person managing the store, I rather take my money and patronage elsewhere. I don't know her name and wished I did, but she was blonde and tall, and in her 40s- 50's. If you are not caucasian, turn around and walk away when you see her! Sadly this is the worst review I had to give!!
Pros: great selections of chocolates and chocolate items, it's GODIVA
Cons: store manager
