If you go you have to try the house special Sea Bass...it's amazing! Great atmosphere. Not really a jeans and t-shirt kinda place so dress up. more

Make you an Offer you Can't Refuse 2/6/2006

I was in San Diego for about a month working and staying at a hotel and one day driving around looking for a place to eat. Passed a little ceasars then on my left hand side I noticed hiding in the corner was the GODFATHER restaurant! Woohoo. Reminded me of the scene where Pacino annihilates the guys after coming back from the bathroom and finding the planted gun. I calld a few friends of mine told them that there was a Godfather restaurant and that we had to visit it for dinner sometime. They came down to visit me and we in. Great service. Cheap food. Elegant Ambience definitely. All of my expectations were as I picutered them. You will definitely enjoy it there. more

Hidden but tasty Italian food 8/27/2005

The Godfather is hidden in a small strip mall located near the Asian district of San Diego, so it was a very pleasant surprise when I walked in for my friend's birthday celebration. It is better to dress nicely to fit the restaurant atmosphere, which is fancy but also welcoming and friendly. The service is great, and we were given complementary appetizers that were plates of delicious fried zucchini. The birthday dinner was a big hit! more
