Goddard School

Words can't truly capture how grateful I am to have had my son attend the Goddard School of Wyomissing. The staff is amazing. Every teacher/staff member knew my son by name. The owner and educational director could not be more warm and compassionate. My son went into the owner or ed. director's office every day before we left to give them hugs and they would stop what they were doing and give him their time. My son has special needs which makes choosing a pre-school setting that much more difficult. As a parent I couldn't have trusted another facility the way that I trusted the Goddard School. Their educational standards are also phenomenal. The kids learn so much and play so much. They emphasize learning through play to make the whole experience so positive for each child. I couldn't be more satisfied with my son's experience. more

Our daughter started at the Goddard School in January, 2014 after a negative experience at another facility. The directors were knowledgable about staffing and programming. They know each child and family by name. The teachers in the infant room are stellar! Our daughter was having some pretty serious issues with her ears and having recurrent ear infections. One day her teacher called me and told me that something just wasn't right with my daughter. The teacher was so familiar with my daughter that she picked up on the subtle changes in my baby. I took her right to the pediatrician and it turned out that she hadn't gotten rid if her last ear infection and now had blisters on both ear drums!! Had her teacher not noticed and listened to my daughter the problem could have gotten worse before we picked up on it! I lovingly call the Goddard School, ""baby college"" because learning starts as early as the tiny infants at Goddard! My 17 month old is using the sign language they taught her, about 15 signs so far. I cannot say enough about this wonderful facility! You cannot put a price on great childcare!! more
