Goddard School

I first toured the Princton Goddard in March 2008 and I was very impressed with the school. My son started in the infant room when he was 7 ½ weeks old. Over the last 2 years he has attended full-time, 5 days per week. It is a wonderful environment. The faculty of the Goddard in Princeton (all full time, no part time teachers or assistants) have established a perfect blend of safety & attention to detail matched with a caring and playful culture. My son loves it at the school and my husband and I always know that when we are at work that he is happy and well cared for. I have looked at other Goddard schools closer to my home and other daycares closer to my work and none have come close to the quality of the curriculum, the ability of the faculty to work with parents to address the needs of each individual child, and the enthusiasm amongst the faculty for early childhood development. My two daughters attend the Goddard School in Princeton. We have been very pleased with our experience here. The teachers are fantastic. They have provided my children with care when I have not been able to be there. My daughters truly enjoy their time there and seem to thrive in the environment. The directors have always been quick to respond to my concerns (although I have only had a couple in three years), and they have gone so far as to call me after hours to make sure that I was happy with their response. A daycare is run by people. We all have our good days and bad days. My husband and I have also done frequent "surprise" drop ins for various reasons. Mostly, we were hoping to "surprise" our children, not the staff!!!! We have never once seen anything in those "surprise" visits that has concerned us or has been different from what we see on a daily basis when we pick the girls up. My son began at Goddard when he was three and was way beyond prepared for Kindergarten when he graduated. He made many friends, and adored each and every teacher he had. His classroom was always clean and inviting and the teachers were always friendly and welcoming. I was always impressed with the information I received about his day on his report, but even more impressed with the additional information he would give me about his day as we talked about the activities listed. My husband and I are so thrilled with the school, that as soon as we found out we were expecting our second child, we made sure to reserve a space! more

I have a 6 month old daughter who is currently enrolled at The Goddard School of Princeton, NJ. She was first enrolled at 2 months! My husband and I both could not be more overjoyed at the care our daughter is recieving! Her teachers are extremely attentive, caring, and keep me informed of her daily activites and always do so with a smile on their faces!! As a first time mother I was very concerned with leaving her in the care of strangers but after the very first day they made me feel as if they've known myself and my daughter for years. All I have to see is the huge smile across my daughter's face to know that this school is the best choice for her care! My husband and I we're blessed to find this school. We put our child in the Goddard school in Princeton when she was three months old. She's now four and is an amazing little girl! Being working parents we put our trust and confidence in the Goddard school program and had tremendous success! The teachers and the daily lessons taught allowed my child to grow into a confident little girl with wonderful self esteem. This year she is in Pre-K and very well adjusted. I feel that she is now ready to move on into the public school system. We owe this to the Goddard school! more
