Goddard School

My daughter has been part of the Goddard School for 3 years, since she was just over a year old. We looked into many area child care/early education providers prior to choosing Goddard, and were most impressed by Goddard - the administrative staff, teachers, facility, and curriculum were the best around. Before starting at Goddard, my daughter was shy with others, and has grown to become incredibly friendly, open to interaction with other children and adults, and has generally come out of her shell. She has learned so much in each classroom and each set of teachers and teacher's assistants have provided her with such wonderful care and guidance. As a mom who can't stay at home, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather have my daughter spend her days. She has grown so much in terms of readiness for school, I have no doubt that she will transition well into kindergarten in another year. Happy anniversary Goddard School!! My son has been attending your program for 1 year this week! I have to say, I could not be happier with our decision to send our son to your school!! Since day one, in the baby room, the teachers and support staff have been loving, caring, attentive and just all around awesome! The teachers in the baby room really took the time to talk with me about development, day to day routine, keeping me informed of stuff to work on my son with to help him along. Now he is in the pre-tods room and it is just as great! He is really coming into his little personality! At 14 months he knows over 20 words! It's a great feeling when he says a word I know he learned from his lesson plan! My son goes in with a smile. Everyone has really taken the time to bond with him. It is really special to know that the teachers here care about his well being. I can't wait for the next year! Thank you all for your care and commitment. more

ABSOLUTLEY THE BEST! I have one child who has been attending this school since she was two,in the toddler room, she is now 6 and loving life in kindergarten. This school by far surpasses any other school ive worked at or had my child enrolled in. The moment you walk in the door you feel warm,welcomed and a good feeling of being able to leave your child with a very trustworthy staff. My daughter comes home everyday learning about something new and different, she laughs about the good times with her classmates, she loves her teacher and has had a special bond with every teacher who has worked with her. The care and appreciation that the teachers show for their job and the kids is unvbelievable. The staff has been devoted and willing since day one, they go out of their way to try and make it the best that they can for your child. You immediatley feel comfortable, knowing that your child is in a safe and healthy enviroment. As far as curriculum goes, i dont know the in and outs of it..but more

This feedback is addressing an unfortunate situation where our 2-year old daughter was kicked out of the local Goddard School very abruptly. We used a survey as an opportunity to provide constructive feedback. A survey Goddard sent to us....ASKED us to complete. We were SOLICITED to complete...we did NOT ASK for....a survey. A survey is an opportunity to provide feedback. It is NOT a tool used just to praise. I provided honest feedback based on our perceptions and our experiences within our rights as parents who have a child attending their school. I believe their curriculum has declined over the years and the level of cleanliness has diminished as well, in both the care of our daughter and the facility itself. Still, the rating was a "5 out of 10"...which is average.
