I am not basing my opinion or review on one experience but two. The first time I went to Glueks, I had a bug in my salad and didn't realize it until I was half way through. I just about threw up at the table. The second time, I ordered a greyhound (grapefruit juice and vodka) and the juice was fermented (really bad, I mean it was even fizzy) plus our sandwiches and appetizers took 35-45 minutes. On top of that, I had an issue with my credit card being charged too much. Never going back!!! I don't advise you try this place. more

Good music and a fun bar! 12/2/2010

Me and the girls like to head over here when we're downtown. It's not as cheezy as some of the clubs. Good ol time bar. Bartenders are generous with their pours too! more

Nice 4/20/2009

We were there for a Girls Night out, meeting place. Bar staff was attentive, and ready to refill when we needed it. It was a little loud, but we were able to still talk amongst ourselves. The DJ music was fun music to dance to. Pros: Enough room at the Bar Cons: Parking on a Saturday Night is tough. more

I love thursday nite's band which Citysearch won't let me type because it has 2 inappropriate words. Their name is Bookers & Flow (but with an H & B for the first letters). Their food is great. The best Walleye Sandwich in town. Can't say enough about this place. Keep up the good work. Pros: Good service, food, music Cons: Not open on sundays more

Friday nights are where it's at! 7/13/2005

Every Friday Gluek's hosts karaoke with a twist. Instead of singing along with a video and a cheap recording, patrons become the lead singers of a live band, complete with back-up singers. The singers are okay, everyone dances, and no one knows how to dance. It's a great time and definitely worth the $3 to $5 cover. Pros: live karaoke, fun dance floor, friendly patrons more

Good food 3/26/2003

Came here for dinner. The meat and cheese platter appetizer is an excellent deal. Will probably return just for that sometime. Overall a good time. Pros: food, drinks Cons: slow service more

Exciting Times 12/15/2002

Glueks gets a big ""thumbs up"" from my coworkers and myself. I am a firm believer in two ply butt tickets, not only for comfort but also non chafing issues. However after dropping a few bowl muskies I was dismayed to find only one ply. My fears were subsided instantly when I felt the soft, reassuring texture of thier paper. Kudos to you thoughtful Gluek employees and kudos again. more

Laid back atmosphere 8/21/2002

Nice german type atmosphere. More of a bar than a restaurant. So only eat there for the finger foods while drinking your pint of Guiness. Crowd is around 25-40 age. nice relaxing atmosphere. Good beers. Good service. more
