Out of the blue, the bonded retainer - installed by my orthodontist in another state - came detached and was causing me terrible pain. The wire poked me all weekend - it was terrible. Then, on Monday, I called my orthodontist back home and asked if their office could refer me to someone in Nashville. When they asked where in the city I was located, and I told them and mentioned that an acquaintance had recommended Dr. Gluck, the nurse on the other end of the line exclaimed, "That's exactly who you need to see! Dr. Gluck and (my orthodontist) are friends [and part of the same professional group]."
