I tried out Glow in 08/2010 for a foot massage, mani & pedi. My first impression was awful mostly because when I walked in, it smelled like bad BO. I don't know if this is because it's a moist environment/carpeting/ a smelly person but it really turned me off. I had to wait a few mins, not a big deal- i checked out the great selection of B. M makeup and others. The salon is split between 2 buildings that connect in the back, so I was brought back outside, into the other door for my treatment. This was much better, no funky smell. The lady that treated me was very good, great massage. My complaint here is that it was pretty loud during my treatment w/ employees coming in and out of the other side, making a lot of noise during what should have been a peaceful, relaxing treatment. It seemed like there was no regard for the customer. The pedi was great, basic mani was just OK. Every place I have been for a mani, I get my cuticles soaked prior to pushing back. Here, for the "basic", I guess they don't do that! So my mani was done "dry" and it kind of hurt when it came time to do my cuticles. Plus, the polish didn't last as long as it should have - 3 days with an extra topcoat on the 2nd day. I won't go back. Go to By the Sea instead!
