Teen facial 8/17/2006

Took my son to the spa for his first facial. He did not want to go but he did not want to have his skin look the way it did either. He ended up loving it. His skin looks wonderful and he feels so much better about himself now. Pros: Courteous, caring staff. more

Best Spa in my opinion 8/17/2006

Really great little, comfortable spa. I would highly recommend it to any man, woman or teenager. The facials are fantastic. I love that they use all organic products. The massage therapists are some of the best I have ever gone too. Wonderful, relaxing deep tissue massage that I have found most therapists don't want to do. Mimosa pedicures...what a treat! 8/17/2006

What a charming, relaxing, special time I had at Glow. Service the old fashion way. Chia tea, biscotti, over stuffed, reclining chair.....it was just old style European service. It transported me back to the time I stayed at the Dorchester in England. In my opinion this is a little, hidden pearl. I just love the Mimosa pedicures. Pros: Parking, Ambience, Service more

This is a really nice place to just relax and rejuvenate. Cozy, lovely soft linens, calming music, tranquil atmosphere, great chia. I love to open the front door and have that wonderful smell in the spa welcome me. Pros: Pleasant atmosphere, very clean, smells great. Cute boutique. Large parking area more

Drive from Clearwater beach just to go to this spa 8/16/2006

I drive from Clearwater Beach (27 miles oneway) every week to come to this spa. The attention to detail at this spa is what keeps me coming. I had my eyebrows done in NYC Times Sq. Sephora's by the famed Anastasia staff there...(for those who don't know she is the Queen of eyebrows and famous for doing stars.) I did not know where I could go after that to have them done the same until I was told about Wesley. She does my brows every bit as well or better. Her waxing is superior to any I have found in this area. She is an expert in Brazilian waxing and as I said her attention to detail makes her the BEST in the area for eyebrows. Having been an international model herself does not hurt in her quest to find the best products and be committed to hold the highest standards for service in this industry. She wants the best and sees to it that is what she gives her customers. It has been a pleasure to get to know her as well as her staff. Pros: Knowledge, high standards. more

Treat, treat, treat. Personal attention from beginning to end. 8/16/2006

If you want personal attention and a pleasant atmosphere this is the spa for you. Small, clean, professional, just charming. I am visiting friends and was looking for a place to unwind. I asked around at a couple of stores at the International Plaza and the name Glow day spa came up over and over again. It took me awhile to find it since it is in the back of a strip mall but it was worth it. I had the best Brazilian I have ever had, Wesley made me feel so comfortable and she did a really great job. I also had my eyebrows done and have never had them done better. I know why she calls the place Glow since that is what my skin did for days after my facial with her. I loved all the products she used in the facial. Pros: Clean sheets, clean bathroom. Service above and beyond what I expected. more

Friendly with excellent service 8/16/2006

What a great gift. I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a spa package at Glow. It was wonderful. Upon arriving I was greeted by a very nice, young girl in the waiting, boutique area. I was offered a lovely cup of green chia tea (which I later found out I could purchase there) and the most delicious handmade biscotti that I have ever had. I had an amazing facial from Wesley the owner. She wrapped me up in this soft, down, cotton comforter and I felt like a queen. When she was done my skin was clean, clear and it Glowed (lol) :-). I also had an incredible massage from Jessica that made me want to stay there and just sleep. Next was my manicure and pedicure with Chris. She did an really good job and I loved the special honey lavender scrub that she used on my feet and legs. I just thought the place was charming. Pros: Excellent service. Wonderful boutique. Clean, clean, clean bathroom! more

Beyond what I expected 8/16/2006

What a charming, relaxing, friendly spa. I found this spa to have it all. It just reminded me of service you used to get in the good old days. Not a lot of flash just good, honest, professional service. Top quality products, clean, fresh smelling, soft, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets! Just old world quality! Quality is what this spa is all about. Wesley is an expert at eyebrows as well as being extremely knowledgeable in skin care. I loved the whole facial experience she gave me and was really impressed with the facial massage she did. I had a sinus problem and she did this drainage massage on my face that gave me instant relief. The neck, head and arm massage she gives is worth every penny of the facial itself. I have had other facials where I got no massage at all. When I did have my massage I was equally impressed. The massage therapist I had, had been doing massage for years and was excellent. She really knew what she was doing. She did a deep tissue massage that really was amazing. Pros: Old world charm, old world class, old world quality. Just don't find this anymore more

Really clean, professional, charming spa 8/16/2006

Came here from PA for vacation and had the chance to visit this little gem while I was in town. I was given the name of this spa while I was shopping at Sak's. I loved this charming little spa. The prodcuts they used on my face where wonderful. I like the whole organic, natural theme they have there.....a body, soul, and heart experience. Would highly recommend this spa. Came here from PA with a friend on vacation and was really happy to have been referred to this little spa by some sales associates at Sak's. My friend and I both loved this little spa. The staff there was friendly and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was calming and peaceful. Soft, tranquil music, lovely cup of tea, wonderful smells from the products and candles filled the air. Pros: Service was some of the best I have ever had. more

This spa is a breath of fresh air. I have had the best facials I have ever had at this spa. Wesley is professional, caring and very knowledgeable. Being in the medical profession cleanliness and sanitation is a must for me. This spa is clean and sanitary from the sheets and instruments to the bathroom. more
