For any of you women out there who have been dealing with grey hair and trying to look your age, but at the same time wanting to look younger and in style, COURTNEY is a MUST!!! She has been my stylist for over 4 years and is the only stylist that understands the look I'm trying to achieve! She colors my hair so well that many of my friends don't even realize that I'm 80% grey. She does a fabulous job of mixing color tones together and making my color look real and believable....it looks great and makes me feel great! And not only does she do an excellent job of coloring my hair, she does a great job in cutting my hair! I have curly hair and she takes the time to understand how I want to style it, but also gives me options if I want to wear it straight. I love the way she takes the time to find out if I want to try something new and each time I go in, she talks to me about how my last cut worked for me and we look at my color and evaluate if I need an all over color or just a touch up! I moved to Portland just about a year and a half ago from NY. I loved my stylist back in NY and was looking for someone new in Portland who I could trust with my hair. I was looking for a new salon and just happened to walk past Glow Salon. Wow! I am so glad that I decided to walk in that day and make an appointment with Courtney. She is fabulous!!! She is great to talk to and is such a great stylist. I feel so comfortable with her when she cuts my hair because I trust that she is going to make me look great. Just recently I decided I wanted a change and wanted to get bangs. I was a little nervous because it was a dramatic change for me but I trusted Courtney. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!! She did such a great job. She takes the time to make sure it's perfect and exactly what I want. I would recommend Glow Salon, especially Courtney, to anyone who is looking for a new stylist. I've been a blonde all my life and had been wanting to go for a dramatic change for awhile, but hadn't quite found the right stylist that I trusted. When I started going to Courtney, I knew I had found someone to give me that new look. I told her I wanted a dramatic change to a dark brunette and just let her do the rest. I love my color and cut. I've gotten TONS of compliments on it from friends, family and classmates. Even my family that has always known me as a blonde, and often has trouble with change, love the new look.\r \r Most of all, I love that I can trust Courtney to give me a great style no matter what; whether it's something new or just a trim, she's fantastic. I moved away from portland 3 months ago. Ive gotten my hair done twice since ive moved and both times were a disaster. I miss my stylist so much! Kristina was the only one whos done my hair since high school( Im 27) and shes the only one whos got the cut AND color right. She was always on time and happy to see me. Even if she worked a long day it always seemed like she was excited to do my hair. I have searched all around looking for someone who can help me. Kristina is the only stylist i have ever had that made my blonde look natural. My hair was always yellow and fake looking and she was the only stylist to fix it!!!! It was nearly four years ago that I moved back to Portland and was desperate for a stylist who could work with my curly hair. Thankfully, Marque was recommended to me. She not only makes my tresses look amazing, but her color work in gorgeous too. Her talent doesn't stop there, however. She styled my hair for my wedding last month, and people were amazed at what she had accomplished with my short curly hair. She made it appear as though my hair was 3 feet long. Incredible! Whether you want a modest trim or a wild color makeover, Kristina is your girl... her coloring skills are off the charts and if you don't have an exact vision going in, she has the most amazing sense of what will work for you. Kristina is wonderful. She's skilled at coloring, extensions, styling, cutting. You name it. If it involves hair, she can do it. With Kristina, you get what you want. I had lived in Portland for almost two years before finding Kristina. After countless hairdo misses and necessary self-cleanup cutting, I scheduled an appointment with Kristina. I've had Kristina do sooo many things to my hair and it always turns out exactly how I want it. She's done long extensions, chopped it off, and helped me grow it, not to mention all the coloring :) She is great at identifying what I am looking for even when I can't quite articulate it. She always knows what is going to look good and work for my hair and won't be afraid to tell me her expert opinion. She also is ALWAYS ALWAYS up to speed on the latest products and techniques to help me get the look I'm after. One last thing, SHE NEVER CUTS TOO MUCH. Roshan is amazing. The entire crew and vibe at GLOW is outstanding. Good music, beverages and most importantly Roshan knows what she’s doing. I don’t think I have reminded her once how I like it done since she first cut my hair nearly three years ago. Courtney has been my stylist for 3 years and I have followed her through her career. I always trust Courtney's professional opinion and I often let her do what she thinks would look best.
