First I wish to thank you for your volunteer service. Without you we would all suffer. I have "volunteered" before and serve in ministry. The true aspect of volunteering is for the sake of giving of oneself to help others without concern for self and without reward. Our reward is the self satisfaction recieved from giving to others. The city needs to start doing more for the fire fighters. 6/8/2008

I called Glencoe CIty Hall to see about passes for Vollunteer Firefighters and they have nothing set up for the very people that risk life and limb for the city for nothing. Gas prices the way they are you think someone would give firefighters a break at the pool for the summer. I called Hokesbluff pool and they gave me a free pass for me and my family for the summer. I guess we know who thinks about the firefighters. more
