I grew my hair out for three years and decided to get it cut after this summer. The woman I have been going to since I was 13 for haircuts absolutely butchered it! It was a bob on one side, and an elongated pixie cut on the other with two stringy long pieces in the front. Yuck. My friend recommended GG in their Redbank location to fix it up. I was set up with Alicia and she cut my hair super short, but super well. It made me wonder why I wasted three years growing out my hair to begin. It IS pricey, but if someone else ruined your hair, this is a well-worth one time splurge. more

Subjected to sub-par hair cuts my entire life, I thought it was just my hair that was lame. Enter Edgar... he listened, looked at my hair, and then gave a cut that was like a miracle to my hair! Abandoning standard "layered" hair cuts, he showed no fear in removing the bulk, applying the razor, and not just listening but HEARING me when I explained what I was looking for. Now I know there are a lot of "average" , "fair", and "good" hair dressers out there but Edgar is excellent. Thank you for giving me a cut that people stop me on the street and comment on! more

It has been more then a few weeks now. I really wanted to try this salon after reading great reviews on Judy’s book. Hoping to find a better place then where I have been going to. The other salon I had been going to cuts very well. But I started to really hate the color I have been getting from her over the summer. So many colors in my hair. None of it looks natural or real besides never coloring or covered the little amount of grays I had. So I gave them a try. I booked ahead so I would have all the time I needed for color and cut without being rushed. I felt a bit out of place at first. But still wanted to give them a tried. I have to say I was really disappointed after all the hypes. I felted I was been rush out of there. The cut was fine not as I had hope for. And I the color was really something else. I am living with it for now. Not in a good way! I got charged a lot of money for her to use a non permanent color on top of my bad color job before which fixed nothing to hide the tri color already there. Did nothing for it what so ever. If I wanted to do that, I could just do a box color from the drug store! By the way, that color also did not cover the grays! I should but I am not going to trash your salon after all the money I shelled out. You were talking a lot about the other place you were working on. Maybe you had your head elsewhere instead of here, where it should have been. First & Last time for me here. But I wish you much luck. more

Best hair I have ever had! The color and highlights, by Kimberly, are amazing and the cut, by Glenn, is fantastic - my hard to manage curly hair is now wash and wear! My daughter goes to Chelsea and her hair always looks fabulous too. EVERYONE in th salon is super friendly. It is a great experience overall to go to Glenn Goldbaum 72. more

Glen has created an oasis on the west side of town. Once inside, the natural wood floors, brick walls are accented with great mirrors and artwork worthy of being in the antique district. Glen is a master stylist who I trust implicitly with my hair. For years he has cut my hair and all I can say is everyone compliments on how COOL my hair is! My hair is silky smooth, straight and shiny after my Keratin Hair Straightening by Keelin! She is a perfectionist! She made sure she got every strand! I absolutely love it. The entire staff was great. I was there for a few hours. They hare free wi-fi so I was able to work on my laptop the entire time!
