Gleaming the view was able to come out with only a few days notice in early December to hang Christmas lights on our second story roof. Tim and company did a professional job, and they custom fit the lights to our roof line. The entire job was done quickly and for the price they quoted me via email. I'll be having them back for the lights every year, and to clean the windows too. more

I have maybe a million windows. Eric cleaned them all even coming back 3 times to get it all done because of good ol' Portland rain. (Couldn't do storm windows when raining.) Great job, would use them again for sure. more

Was given Gleaming the View's name from someone and could not be happier with their work. They came out and left a quote the day after I called. We needed the work done by a certain date and they were able to accommodate. When they came out to do the work, they were totally on time and very nice. They worked efficiently and effectively and made our dirty windows sparkle.\r \r And, what is always important to us, they were very pet friendly and closed doors (so cats didn't escape) and were kind to our dogs.\r \r Finally, and I can't say that all their employees do this, but the guy who did our windows used an e-friendly soap on the windows. YEAH!\r \r Our windows and screens look terrific and the view from inside our home just got 100% better. more

Gleaming the View has been sooo good to my family! They have washed my windows early spring as well as just a week ago hung Christmas lights! I was able to buy the lights through the company and they were custom fit. My house is definitely the BEST house on the block! Highly recommend this company. Great customer service as well as ease for appointment! more

My windows look great! 9/23/2011

I recently had my windows professionally cleaned for the 1st time. They arrived within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment time. Very friendly and efficient and they did a great job. I also got an estimate to have my roof cleaned and the house pressure washed, which my husband insists he can do ~ gave him a deadline and I'll bet I'll be calling Gleaming the View to do it when hubby doesn't get it done. I've already recommended them to a friend that wants her windows cleaned. I'm certain I will be using them again. more

I began working with Tim when he was a much smaller operation. Even with his larger company size, I am always pleased with the job they do. The windows always look great, and the Christmas light hanging looks great too. I am always happy to recommend them to others. more

Job was LOUSY (from a real customer) 11/25/2010

We had Gleaming the View clean our roof tops and they left some algae near our upper gutters. The ""cleaning"" didn't even brush over it as it looked the exactly the same when they finished. We asked them to please correct it but they were only willing to return if we added on an additional job as a condition in order to make it ""worth his while"" to come back. Too bad for them because we were going to have them also clean all our windows and do our Christmas lights. We said no can do, and ""Gleaming the View"" will never be welcome to work for us again. PS The guy subbed out his work (for us) to other contractors...not cool. more

Great Window Cleaning and Xmas Lights company 4/22/2010

Tim's great worker, Ben, came again this year and again did a great job. The weather conditions were horrible; but he never complained. We have an elaborate set up, and he and my husband toiled in the rain and wind to get it all up. These folks are absolutely the best. Oh, and did I mention that their window washing is terrific too? Pros: On-time; Friendly; Professional; Quality Equipment Cons: none that I can think of more

Amazing 2/28/2010

This is third year I have used Gleaming the view. They cleaned my driveway, roof, gutters, and windows. Every year I am blown away at what a fine job they do for a reasonable price. Very freindly and professional. They even took the time to explain to my kids what they were doing and how the pressure washer worked. I would reccomend Gleaming the view and I will be definitely using them again next year!!! Pros: Fast, Clean more

Helps homes sell faster 2/26/2010

As a realtor I need dependable and quality companies on my side. In this tough real estate market you need every edge to beat the competition. In a recent home sale I suggested to my sellers to have Gleaming the View clean their windows before the home even went on the market. The windows looked amazing and the natural light did wonders to showcase the home. We sold the home in 30 days! But that's not all during the home inspection the inspector noted a gutter leak and full gutters. One call to Gleaming the View and they were out the next day to take care of the problem for my sellers at a very resonable price. BEST in town!! Hands down 2/26/2010

I have used them for years as well as my family and friends and EVERY time have felt we got MORE than what we paid for. They are efficient, reliable, affordable, and do an AMAZING job! Many times they have gone above and beyond the job requirements and are impeccable when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. Tim the owner even came to my house and fixed 2 screens for me that were not even part of the job (which was pressure washing the siding and roof and removing moss). I will ONLY ever use Gleaming The View and would recommend them highly to anyone...including my mother, who uses their services exclusively for herself and her real estate clients!! GREAT JOB!! Honest and reliable!! 2/23/2010

Thank you so much for all your hard work on my home. It looks amazing!! Had the roof cleaned and treated for moss...moss is dead and gone. Gutters are clean and no longer overflowing. For the few years I've been using this company they have been great. Thanks again to another job well done!! Pros: These guys know what they're doing!! Cons: No cons at all!! more
