Glatt Express

This is a great place for one-stop kosher shopping. The lot in the back is huge (there is also street parking on Queen Anne Road and on West Englewood Avenue). I find their meat prices are comparable to the large supermarkets nearby (Pathmark in Bergenfield and Shoprite in Englewood) and the quality of meat is much better at Glatt Express. You really can find almost anything here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, also. I have never had a staff member be rude to me (and I have lived in the area almost 4 years now). The only gripe is on Thursday nights and Friday mornings (about 10 am and after), it can become a ZOO! So, the earlier you shop the better! It is a nice sized market, but it gets very crowded and the aisles are a bit narrow. Overall, I really like this market and I choose to go here over any place else in the area. more

great all around kosher supermarket with convenient parking lot in the back. has almost any kosher item you would want including a deli counter , take out foods and a meat department. the prices especially for the meats are not cheap, but then again there is not much competition for what they provide. they have a nice coffee place next door also- grab a cup on your way in more
