My car was broken into (driver's window smashed) overnight last week. I call Glass America Friday at 3:00 PM to order a new window. They said they would be out Monday to install the window.\r

Monday afternoon rolls around and no phone call from the technician as promised to tell me when I could expect him. I call Glass America and they said they called me multiple times on Saturday to tell me they wouldn't be able to get out until Tuesday. The customer service rep then asked for my phone number - which is strange given they claimed to have called me multiple times.\r

Tuesday afternoon rolls around and still no call from the technician, again as promised by the customer service agent. I called Glass America and asked if they were still coming out and why I never received a call. They again told me that they called to tell me they wouldn't be able to get out but the area code was incorrect - fine, mistakes happen. She promised they would be out the next day.\r

Wednesday morning I get a call from Glass America saying the glass was broken during its shipment to Lexington, but that they were getting another in Wednesday evening and be out first thing Thursday morning.\r

Thursday afternoon rolls around and no phone call from the technician, as I was promised. I call Glass America asking about the status of my appointment. The customer service agent calls the technician but couldn't reach him. She then sends an email to their ETA system. \r

I waited an hour and still nothing so I called back and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining my situation, the manager tries calling the technician again and still no answer.\r

Almost a week later, a phone call everyday to Glass America and still no window.\r

I told the manager that if there was nothing she could do to resolve their errors (discount) then I would like to cancel my appointment. Her response ""Well hold on a minute now. The technician is in the middle of a job and can't pick up the phone"".\r

Glass America dropped the ball several times and made no attempt to understand my frustration or make things better. I have cancelled my appointment as I said I would and suggest you look elsewhere for your car window replacement.
