Glamour Shots

Wow talk about over priced. Did you know everyone works on commission. So the makeup artist gets 6% the photographer gets 3% and the person that sells you gets 3% and whomever you made your appt with gets 6% of whatever you spend. So no wonder i felt the pressure as soon as i walked in. Wow a bunch of high school kids run the place. So tell me again why I would spend 125.00 for one photo... Glamourshots is a glamour don't! I went here and was completely shocked at how much this place is a waste of money for a product you can find at Sears, Penneys, etc. The products are a waste of money too. One 8x10 sheet cost approx. $40 and they always give you a free one or you can get a coupon. But I ended up buying their Little Black Book which cost about $70 and was so freaking little - it was the size of a business card and it had all my poses that were shot. I mean would it hurt them to offer a little bigger size so I could show people without a microscope??? Especially when they are charging so much. Don't come here. Sears offers the same "soft light" pictures and for much, much cheaper. (Also side note: Glamour Shots charges EXTRA to put that soft light around your photos - another $40 extra). Plus, Sears is awesome! If makeup is the issue, then you can always get a complimentary makeover done at any makeup counter in a dept. store. Free! Who can beat that? more
