I wear bi-focal contacts that are hard to fit, and OA once helped me with an eye burning injury 10 years ago. Because I've usually gotten a great fit, and the help years ago, I've been very loyal. But today I sent my request to have them send on my records. The staff at the desk are uneven, and I got the bad one last time. My contacts doc was curt and unhelpful to the point that I left with trial contacts I couldn't wear. After moving from Lansdale several years ago, I tried the sister office in Fort Washington: It was worse! The main doc there is so surly, that I expect the good interns they had headed out pronto! More than once I heard staff complaining about clients while waiting in the exam room! So I took the longer drive back to the Lansdale office. I don't write many online reviews, but there's a problem here. I like the set-up. I feel confident in the quality of their work, but they are in the dark ages of patient care. more

If you are 80 years old with cataracts then this is the perfect place for you--you will barely see the sour looks on the pinched faces of the office staff. If you like being disonnected or put on hold then forgotten about every time you call then you will love this office. If you have the time & patience to return to the office due to clerical errors i.e. transposing a prescription wrong then you will love this place. If you enjoy waiting over an hour while others who arrived after you are seen then thumbs up! If you are caught in traffic coming home from the shore and will miss your appointment and your husband wants to take the time slot and it's ""impossible"" then by all means call this office. If you like to be greeted with reisistance and unpleasantness then you will be right at home. Small town=small-minded old biddies poorly minding the office. more
