GREAT CLOTHES AND WONDERFUL OWNERS 11/18/2011

I dropped into Giselle's completely at a loss for what I wanted to get as an outfit for my upcoming 60th b-day party, and within a half hour, Lori (one of the owners) had put together a knock-out outfit for me that was just the perfect thing -- plus found someone to do alterations that were needed on the slacks I was buying to come to the store while I was there! She also gave me substantial discounts and made the whole experience a real pleasure -- instead of the nightmare I had anticipated. She & her partner, Cara, are really wonderful, lovely people and are there to help you find clothes that will make you feel great about yourself. I HIGHLY recommend this great store!!! more

Favorite boutique on Montana! 2/22/2008

Without a doubt my favorite boutique on Montana. It is dangerous to be able to step into a store at any time and find too many things I LOVE! To add to the danger is the owner's ability (Lori) to immediately drape me in clothes or jewelry that I wouldn't necessarily notice on my own. Her selections are usually stunning and well suited for ME. Lori has selected items for me that have helped me ""round out"" my own wardrobe very nicely, allowing me to incorporate things I already own that weren't previously working for me. All of the items in Giselle are very hand selected and truly unique. I always feel pretty and feminine in my Giselle fashions! more

For any guys like me.... 2/20/2008

It was the night before valentines day and I was a lost man, without a clue or a gift! I was running around Montana ave in a panic, every store I walked into just didn't have anything I could see my wife liking, not to mention no one was really willing to help a guy out. I needed a gift for my beautiful wife and I needed it now! I walked into Giselle hoping someone would be able to help me out. As I walked in I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help finding some particular. I pretty much just had to tell them I was looking for a Valentines gift for my wife and within moments I was getting all the help a guy could ask for. I had found my help, the young ladies there were even willing to show me all their best selling items and helped me out with sizing. I ended up spending close to 30 minutes there and walked out with some great stuff. Sure enough my wife went crazy over both the jewelry and the jacket I bought. My wife liked it so much, she went back the next day only to end up buying more of the owners jewelry to match the stuff I had bought her, just like the young lady had warned she would! more

Love to be pampered while you shop? 2/20/2008

I just want to say that I have been a Giselle customer since 1992. I purchased their gorgeous clothing line when they designed dresses, and during the ""recycled"" slip dress phase I bought more of their slip dresses than I care to admit!! Season after season I have been able to find unique, one of kind clothing and jewelry. I find off the chart pieces and always get plenty of compliments. For years and years they have been collectors of not only one of a kind vintage clothing but also of vintage jewelry. I love going in there just to see what's up!!! They always are on the cutting edge of cool new jewelry, too, and my favorite pieces have been the diamond and gold earrings I wear almost every day and the hand pounded gold necklace I bought recently. I am not kidding!!! When I told the owner recently how much I loved the store she asked me to write a review and I am more than happy to oblige. I am not kidding, I love this store. The owner and her daughter are running the store these days, and they both are real dolls. Kate Hudson came in while I was there - she's sweet as can be!!! When there are so many cookie cutter stores, I think it's fair to say that if you don't want to blend into the crowd, shop at Giselle. There is no attitude there, just honest, hard working talent! One problem, although there is parking in the back two or three times I was there I had to search for parking on the street. That can be tricky. Oh also they will stay open late if you're in the mood to shop!!! more

Amazing Help...Great stuff and staff! 2/20/2008

This store is one of the most unique stores I have ever been to. It's refreshingly beautiful, with hand painted walls and a shabby chic feel, authentic and feminine. Any review that says rude service simply lacks credibility as the owner operator Lori is so one on one, gives such personal service you may leave there feeling like her best friend and you won't be the only one. I went in at 6:30 pm and didn't get home until after 11 pm that evening. I wanted every piece of jewelry she was wearing and what she didn't have in stock she is making for me. Although I don't have time to go on and on, I certainly would. There is a lot of talent at this store...and any shopper who stumbles upon this store is in for something special! 5 stars!! Pros: Great help, free parking in the back, will get it for if not in stock! Cons: None that I can think of. more

Stunningly gorgeous; overwhelmingly stuffed with merchandise! 8/14/2006

This shop has so many choices I thought I was going to faint. It was perfect though, I found beautiful jewelry and my girlfriend found authentic vintage pieces from, I think, the Victorian Era. The sales person was attentive but didn't jump on us. I will definately go back! Pros: Parking, no preassure from sales person, pretty pretty stuff. And they were open late! Cons: A little too much stuff if you are not in the mood. more
