Happy Pizza Lover 11/15/2008

I have had a staff party and I am currently having our end of the season soccer party at this location. Love the thin crust, environment and staff. Plenty of room and the staff is very accomodating. The only suggestion is that maybe they need to partner with Baskin-Robbins for dessert. more

Giovanni's is the best pizza in sacramento 4/13/2006

Hands down, no question about it. If, that is, you prefer the thin-crust, New York-style pizza. Giovanni's takes this art form seriously and does an excellent job of it. Try their "Don Giovanni", a delicious blend of cheese, sausage and roasted sweet peppers. Also, they have a pie with sausage, garlic and beautiful heaps of riccota cheese -- delicious. They have three locations in Sacramento now. One on Folsom Blvd., where Merlino's used to be, one in Loehman's plaza on Fair Oaks Blvd., and a gigantic location in South Land Park where the kids can run wild while you enjoy a glass of wine and delicious pizza. more

Laid Back But Nice 3/11/2006

The staff here are a little laid back, not snap and pop. It's not a bad thing. Just don't come in and hope to get out soon. Between 11 - 4, Monday through Friday they sell pizza by the slice. Not a bad deal -- $2.39 total. The place has a New York feel and the pizza is fantastic. There is rotisserie chicken that I hear is real good and tasty. A bit expensive compared to other stores near by but who knows I haven't tried it yet. Lots of parking, lots of room in the restaurant for large parties i.e. after soccer, basket ball etc. more
