THE BEST PIZZA IN TOWN!!!! 1/28/2011

I have eaten at Gio's many times (at least once a week!!). It is a family oriented restaurant and we always enjoy a delicious meal here. The service is great and they always seem to put smiles on their customer's faces. I recommend anything on the menu but a few of my favorites are the pesto pizza, (add chicken if you'd like) the meat lovers with bacon on wheat crust, (great for diabetics and one of the few places who offer this) and if you haven't had their delicious homemade roast beef or meatball poboy, I would highly recommend both!! GOOD EATS!!! more

Friendly people, comfortable atmosphere, GREAT homemade pizza! 8/1/2007

I've never been to the area before i met my boyfriend. his aunt owns this place. when i walked in, it reminded me of my momma's cafe. It was great! Small, cozy, and friendly atmosphere. i was very comfortable. The employees were very friendly and talkative. We ordered a pizza and i was surprized by how delicious it was! I could taste all the fresh ingrediants in every homemade bite! the crust and sauce are both made fresh. that really makes it great! I hope to go back and try many other items from the menu! Pros: such great people with big smiles! Cons: they are not in my town! more

My Favorite Red Sauce 2/18/2007

Great Pizza, anything with their Red Sauce, Italian Salad, Cannolis. Deano music, nice atmosphere, and all of the people there treat you like they have known you for a long time. Almost like family. There is this one waitress in particular. Now I am not mentioning any names, but if you have eaten there, you know who I am talking about. more
