As soon as you walk onto their property, underneath the canopy you know you're in the presence of a family-owned, fun establishment where you are sure to find good, authentic Italian food. Plastic chairs and a mounted T.V. on the outside patio are sometimes filled with the staff and immediately welcome you. Once inside you feel as if you're inside a special hidden restaurant along the Italian coast with spectacular views. The back room may look less family-owned, yet the elegant decor can feel more like a family dining room when filled with a large group, as it was last Valentine's Day for my visit. All the while the restaurant remains homey and elegant. The staff is always nice, albeit seeming to be in a bit of a pre-occupied state - but hey, they are running a restaurant and enjoying each other's company, who wouldn't do the same? \r
The food is generally very good! My favorite is the Scampi Sambuca. I've had prepared two different ways. One, large shrimp cooked with pasta in the scampi sambuca sauce. Two, the shrimp served with vegetables and a small serving of pasta with red sauce. Both are phenomenal! Their pesto is only alright, yet their gorgonzola sauce is fantastic! The bread with spreading/dipping sauce is also top notch. A gem of a restaurant!
Pros: FOOD, ambience, location
Cons: not cheap, but worth the price
