Gingerbread House Daycare & Preschool

This a very unprofessional atmosphere and a awful environment for a child to be placed in they are all put in a room together in front of the tv. Horrifying that the younger children are not given any attention or watched. If you decide to pull your child out the owner becomes aggressive and confrontational. This type of behavior is a terrible display and is a reflection on how the main adult behaves with the children. more

I took my six month old to this daycare and came in one day to find him completely unsupervised in a room with another infant and at least one other toddler. There was not even an adult within eyesight of the room. My husband spoke with the staff and we got an apology. When we found a new place to take our son, we gave them a week's notice, saying this would be his last week at the daycare. I came to pick up my child and the manager was very confrontational with me, accusing me of "using" their daycare until I could find a better place and saying that ALL daycares have teachers that step out of the classrooms and I just happened to catch it in action here. That latter part really concerned me and made me wonder just exactly how many times my infant's teacher "stepped out" of the classroom. When I held my ground, my child's things were packed up, we were kicked out, and they kept our money for the whole week. more

I found this business a great place for the grandkids if you need a reputable daycare. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff provides top notch attention to the kids. If your kids are older, there is a preschool that really helped my grandson get a head start on learning his A, B, C's and he made many friends. The Gingerbread House is a great daycare & preschool and I would highly recommend that anyone needing child care check out this preschool. I was very happy with the way the staff treated the children. more

Pat and her staff take pride in taking care of your child. Both my boys go here and are excited and happy to be there. They are well watched and keep me informed of any issues that come along (fights, illnesses, etc). Clean establishment, good meals, and a stable staff make for a loving environment. more
