tranny rebuilt on new car with 12000. miles. then cruise control then two recalls. lost $8000. to get rid of this lemon. never doing business there again. more

I have been buying cars from here for many and many years. I don't know about the other bad reviews mostly about a certified car but at Gilleland certified cars are normally at 30k... Which I know because they r all I buy! Which means they have the powertrain warranty... Fixes all main components! This Is a great dealership that's why I keep going back thanks again Gilleland for being awesome!! more

I purchased a "Certified Used" vehicle from Gilleland. 3 weeks after I purchased it, the transmission went out. I purchased the vehicle "AS IS", so I did not expect them to replace the transmission at no cost. I did, however, expect that a "Certified Used" vehicle would include an inspection of said vehicle. My mechanic found corn throughout the vehicle, including the air filter box which was full of it! How can it be a "Certified" vehicle if they don't even change the air filter? I will never buy another vehicle from them after this whole ordeal (this was just one problem) and have told everyone that I know not to buy a "Cerified Used" vehicle from them. So much for truth in advertising! Find another place if you're looking for a used vehicle! I'm paying the price for straying from the lot we've purchased all of our previous vehicles from. more

I took my Tahoe under extended warranty into their service center for repair of a broken rear window defroster and they charged me $38.00 to look at and said it cannot be fixed. I proceeded to take the vehicle to Schweiters in Cold Spring, MN where not only was my rear defroster fixed i wasn't charged a dime. I know where my next new vehicle will be bought, Schweiters Chevrolet. more

There was a time that Gilleland was a great auto lot- that time has past. We were looking to purchase a new truck and thought we would give them a chance to earn our business back. Instead we left frustrated. When I had asked about a truck listed on their website (which the sales person did not know they had) they stated the price was a misprint and would not honor it. The sales manager was quick to blame everyone from who parked the truck, web designer, sales person, and new truck sales manager. Very poorly done- I will stop wasting my time at Gilleland and just go straight to Cold Spring. more

I would never buy anything from this place again. We bought our minivan from them and bought the warranty with it. We had to take the van in several times under warranty. The last time we brought it in we wanted them to check the transmission because it was sluggish. They said it was fine. Then, of course, as soon as the warranty was over the transmission went out--completely. They wouldn't repair the transmission for under $2000. We took our van to another place and they charged us way less and told us that our type of vehicle was known for having a faulty transmission drum (something Gilleland should have known). Also, we had a lot of trouble with our air conditioner and they replaced the parts with none GM parts so they were not warrantied. Stay far, far away from this place! more
