I've gotten good deals here on plants and flowers, but I've also gotten screwed. I would recommend going on the weekends and seeing what they have (if you're just in the market...

Overall, this is a great flower shop. Their large selection of fresh flowers always makes for unique choices in arrangements, or creating a beautiful bouquet. I think I always get great value..and most importantly, the customer service is wonderful. I usually call because I like listening to their suggestions. They did my wedding several years ago and people are still talking about the flowers. more

Gidas Flowers 3/21/2006

This shop is located in Oakland on Forbes Ave and I have gone here for flowers for everything. From a funeral to a date that night; the prices are amazingly cheap yet the flowers aren’t. I have no clue how to pick out flowers or what should go with what but the sales staff are always so helpful that they make shopping a breeze. I love this store for all my floral needs. more

Sometimes Cheap, Sometimes Good 11/13/2005

I've gotten good deals here on plants and flowers, but I've also gotten screwed. I would recommend going on the weekends and seeing what they have (if you're just in the market for anything). Don't go here on valentine's day, as you'll end up paying $100 for a dozen long stem roses, like a friend of mine did last year. Generally a convenient place to get flowers and potting materials. more
