I work in downtown Frankfort and tend to eat out almost daily. I've been taking a lot of my business to Gibby's because the food IS good. However, the staff need more customer service training or orientation. I've had multiple instances of less than stellar service. Yesterday I called in a carry out order and she told me to come in 15-20 minutes. I waited and went in 20 minutes because I was working on limited time. When I got there I still had to stand in line a little and then even when I paid they had not made my food so I still had to wait. Frustrating. A time before I went in for pickup and you're supposed to be able to go to the back to pay for carryout orders...they sent me back to the front again to stand in line and pay there. A little annoying. Another time I picked up a carryout order they gave me the entirely wrong order - a kids hotdog - after I had spent $6-8 on my own meal and after getting back to work I had to turn around and go back to get the right food....they made no ""I'm so sorry"" gesture or anything. The younger staff there just don't seem very attuned to serving people in a pleasant way. Even though the food is good, don't underestimate the importance of customer service.
