Giant Food Inc

The big store, nice decoration, available parking......... a lot of good thing. Overall I like to shopping at Giant. Since I came this country ( more than 5 years ), I prefer Giant than other groceries. I appeciate Giant's customer services. They have good team. But,,,,,,,,,, last night (07/24/2011) I got a bad experience at Giant#169, Germantown, MD. At 10:30pm I was a customer of Mr. Varinder's line. I was shopping by WIC and others. I had taken a Penut butter from the shelve. I used to take that brand (SKIPPY). Cashier was scanning, that skippy was not going through. Mr Varinder call Ms Saliha, Front-End Mgr. She came there and she was upset on me and complaing why I pick that item. I inform her saw the WIC sign and took it. I try to show her but she did not like to see that. because she was with her friend. I think, she needs friends rather than customer. I appreciate Mr Varnider. He went with me. He saw that, those item had placed in a wrong place. That was not my fault. Mr Varinder apologized to me for that. But Ms Saliha only misbehave to me and never said even sorry. I hope she'll change her Indian mentality. Don't forget, Full container of milk will be poisonous if that mix with one drop of poison. more

Giant is a great store for deals on grocery and for pharmacy and prescription refills. They have weekly circulars and good deals especially on Giant Brand products. They also have this concept of "Bonus Card" which you can make use everytime you shop and save money on your purchases. They also do lot for the community for example, there is thing called A+ BonusBucks which is a share generated from the purchases you and can be donated to the school you wish. more
