dr orna ourshalimi is the best 9/30/2011

She is the friendliest and the most professional dentist we have ever had. She is also great with kids and unbelievably honest. The staff at Toluca lake are also the greatest and very helpful. The best office u can find around here more

Dr. Pema and his staff are the best, 9/26/2011

I've been having dental work done by Dr. Pema and his staff since 2007 and I can't imagine going to another dentist. There is always very little waiting time and the staff is super friendly and will always work with my busy schedule. Dr. Pema has also done an excellent job with my invisalign. Thanks to this office I now have perfect teeth! more

I've been having dental work done by Dr. Pema and his staff since 2007 and I can't imagine going to another dentist. There is always very little waiting time and the staff is super friendly and will always work with my busy schedule. Dr. Pema has also done an excellent job with my invisalign. an amazing dentist!!!! 9/19/2011

I am very happy with Dr. Pema and his courteous staff. Not only does he do a phenomenal job but he does it WITHOUT any pain!!! He explained step by step what type of treatment I needed and why. He answered all my questions, showed me my Xrays and pictures. I finally found a dentist that I can trust. And not to mention they have up to date dental technology. I recommend everyone to go see Dr. Pema and his hygienist and have a great experience like I did. more

"Dr. Don" is the zen teddy bear of dentistry 4/3/2008

I've been going to "Dr. Don" since he graduated from USC Dental School in August of 1980.\r \r This is the Rolls Royce of dentists... he is calm, gentle, reassuring (a zen teddy bear), great for phobics (I'm not) but also an artist. After paying a fortune for front teeth caps at a 'dentist to the stars', when I had my caps redone, Dr. Don did them & no one has ever asked me "who did your caps?" again, as my caps look like beautiful, natural teeth.\r \r The office is restful & comfortable (TVs w/ cable at each chair) so you can relax during a DDS exam.\r \r All the hygienists are wonderful. Unlike other DDS who will tell you that you need unnecessary treatment (this happened to me in other practices), DDS is a honest as he is brilliant.\r \r A pal w/ gum disease was told by his DDS that he'd loose his teeth. I sent him to Dr. Don & 17 years later, he has not lost a tooth. more

Best dentist! 2/24/2008

I absolutely love Toluca Dental Care! The staff is so friendly and Dr. Pema really knows what he's talking about. He was featured on one of those shows like extreme makeover (I think it was actually that one) and is very knowledgeable! \r \r The office is clean, bright, and not boring like most offices. All the assistants are friendly and they have state of the art technology. They also call and give you reminders when you need a cleaning.\r \r Though located in North Hollywood, I don't mind driving the 40 minutes to see them. I am a private paying patient which means I pay out of pocket for my work and because of the area, they have lower fees than most of LA.\r \r I highly, highly recommend Toluca Dental Care and would refer anybody I knew! more

Dr. Don is the best! 9/6/2005

I have lived in Northern and Central CA, as well as Chicago, IL, and everywhere I have gone, when I've had my teeth cleaned, the hygenists and dentists actually COMPLIMENT me on my dental work! I get comments like, "Wow! Polished amalgams...you don't see that every day!" and "Who did your dental work? It looks fantastic!" Dr. Don is also a very personable professional whose office staff is also very well trained, service-oriented, and skilled. The office itself is beautiful, soothing, and equipped with the most advanced technology and tools. Because of that, even though I don't live in So. CA anymore, I schedule my dental checkups with Dr. Don around dates when I'm in town! I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone else! PROS: highly skilled, personable, professional CONS: it's a busy office, so call well in advance for an appt.! more

Toluca Lake Dentistry 2/23/2005

What I love the most about TLD is Dr. Don Kobashigawa! He is an excellent dentist - very knowledgeable, skillful, gentle, and has an awesome bedside manner. He takes pride in his work, has an incredible eye for aesthetics (i.e., cosmetic dentistry), and ensures his practice uses top-of-the-line equipment! The office is very clean and comfortable -- is actually beautifully decorated with hardwood floors to boot! :) His staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and warm, which makes some of most unpleasant experiences more bearable! more
