I, and my family, were all clients of Ms. Gersten for several years, by the way, having individual, couples, and family clients is considered unethical. Unfortunately, when the decision was made by one of us to find another therapist, Pnina viewed this as “resistance” (although Is been a client for 11 years at the time), and proceeded to divulge private communications with my wife and son. Pnina’s actions directly led to a very ugly separation from my family. Thankfully, my wife and son eventually all left Pnina’s practice, which restored our relationships and my wife & I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary next year! I’m happy we’ve been able to find our own, very effective therapists, and that we were able to repair the years of damage that nearly cost my family dearly. Thank you for listening. more

Didn't think therapy could be so unprofessional. She was enraged when brought up with criticisms of her therapy, even at one point saying "I have 35 clients I don't need you." And proceeded to list things I brought with her as sensitive to attack me with. Awful person. more

Our primary physician referred me to Pnina. I was having anxiety and my marriage was falling apart. My wife and I decided to go in as a couple. It was the best thing we could have done. Pnina helped me cope and manage my panic attacks and helped my wife and I save our marriage. Pnina is intuitive, incredibly dedicated and supportive and very available for emergency calls when you are struggling. Her style is very interactive, honest and supportive and she is determined to facilitate change. And boy did she ever change my/our life. My panic attacks rarely happen but when they do I use the tools pnina taughl me and our marriage is back on track. I highly recommend this incredibly wise warm women. I have seen several therapist in the past but this experience was completely different. She helped me change the direction of my life. Simply Amazing and Empowering – Pnina is a fantastic therapist. Her sessions are interactive and enlightning. She is intuitive and perceptive. She is kind, empathetic, tough when she needs to be in a very kind and sensitive manner. She leaves the patient feeling empowered. She also helped me understand that men and women are different and how to accept and appreciate those differences. Pnina is wise, intuitive, direct and extraordinarily compassionate. We were referred to her by a close friend. We had seen several therapist but our family continued falling apart.
