I usually don't take my beamer to any one else except the authorized service center. I heard about GCR from one of my friends and I thought I will give it a try. I had a multitude of problems with my car. When I went in, I was greeted by Alan and I immediately knew I was going to get along with this guy real well. He took my car and promised to call me by EOD. Gave me a call at around 5 and explained the problems, one with my transfer case actuator and the other with the oxygen sensor and my engine oil was low, and gave me a quote for $1700. Most of the cost was on the parts that had to be replaced. I casually mentioned to him that I might still be having a CPO and only if this was covered. Alan said, my transfer case actuator may be covered by CPO and he will call and check, if he gets my authorization to share the VIN number. I said go ahead. The next day morning he called back and said that both my transfer case actuator and oxygen sensors were covered and also I was still under CPO and that he already called up his contact in the BMW service center. The engine oil and the diagnostics came up to $200 and the rest was done by the BMW service center under CPO. Now, I know for a fact that Alan does what is best for your car and he will be my service guy for life. more

I am new to suburban Atlanta, and checked Yelp to find a German car repair that had a lot of good customer reviews. German Car Repair in Roswell had nothing but rave reviews from every customer who had posted. I am joining their chorus; I got great service from GCR, and would recommend them without reservation. They are very professional in every way, and very considerate of their customers. My car got great service, and will be going back to GCR for all future work. Finding great car repair so close to my new home is an enormous relief. That everyone who works at GCR is so nice and pleasant to deal with is icing on the cake. more

Had a horn problem that was hard to 'recreate' but they tried. But since it seems fine now. No harm, no foul right? GCR was up front about possibile causes and possible costs and that was appreciated. So overall fine. No charge for work that couldn't be done, which was much better than a competitor of theirs (in Kennesaw area). So high marks there. more

These are really good, honest folks who care about their customers. I had a fuel pump fail in Macon and Alan actually offered to drive down with a flatbed and pick me up, all I had to do was pay for gas. A few months later one of the power windows was acting up and Alan gave me an estimate of $1000 for the motor, regulator and labor. When I went in to pick it up, my bill was only $550. Alan told me that once they had it apart, the motor tested fine and since they rarely go bad, he let be. Saved me $500! more
