This is the first luau I've been to in Hawaii. My husband and I went with our guests the day after our wedding. Dinner was served buffet-style -- the food was nothing to write home about. At least the drinks were free. The show itself was entertaining. We were treated to the hula, Tahitian and Samoan dances, all distinctive and unique. The Samoan Fire-knife dance captured everyone's attention (especially the kids). We were delighted to know that our wedding officiant was also the emcee of the night's events. An overall entertaining night but don't know how it compares to other luaus.
